RESIDENTIAL LENDING
YOU PAY NOTHING FOR OUR SERVICE
Why this works: Lenders pay us because we bring them quality applications and save them marketing costs. You get expert service at no cost while gaining access to better rates and products.
COMMERCIAL LENDING
Complex transactions may incur work fees disclosed upfront. Simple commercial loans typically have no fees to you.
The difference: Most business loans work like home loans - we're paid by the lender. Only complex deals requiring extensive structuring work may incur fees, which we'll discuss clearly before starting.
HOW WE'RE ACTUALLY PAID
UPFRONT COMMISSION (paid by lender at settlement):
- • Residential loans: Typically 0.60% - 0.70% of loan amount
- • Commercial loans: Typically 0.50% - 1.00% of loan amount
TRAIL COMMISSION (paid by lender annually):
- • Residential loans: Typically 0.15% - 0.20% per year of outstanding balance
- • Commercial loans: Typically 0.10% - 0.25% per year of outstanding balance
Important: These commissions are built into lender interest rates whether you use a broker or go direct. The rate you receive often beats going direct because of our volume relationships.

BEST INTEREST DUTY
We must act in your best interests at all times - not the lender's interests, not our own interests, but yours. Every recommendation must be suitable for your situation, even if it means lower commission for us.
RIGHT TO INFORMATION
You can request specific details about commissions, payments, and our relationships with lenders at any time. Full transparency about how we're paid and any potential conflicts of interest.
COMPLAINT RESOLUTION
Internal dispute resolution within 30 days, plus access to free external dispute resolution. Multiple avenues to resolve any concerns quickly and fairly.
CREDIT INFORMATION RIGHTS
Access and correct your credit report information, understand how it's used in applications. Full transparency about credit checks and how your information is used.
EXTERNAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA)
AFCA provides free, fair and independent financial services complaint resolution. If we can't resolve a concern internally within 30 days, AFCA can help at no cost to you.
Your protection: Independent oversight ensures fair treatment and resolution of any disputes.
